Locally owned, not a broker

You are calling Newnan, not a call center

Newnan Dumpster Rental has been locally owned and operated in Newnan since 2020, built on one simple idea: a dumpster rental should show up when it is promised and cost exactly what was quoted — nothing more.

We still own every truck and every container, and we still dispatch them ourselves from 40 GTD Loop. That is why we can say yes to a same-day drop, and why the person on the phone can picture your street before you have finished describing it.

  • Owner-operated since 2020 — 6 years on these roads
  • Our own trucks, our own boxes, our own drivers
  • The quoted number is the invoiced number
  • Licensed & insured in Georgia, certificates on request

How it works

Five steps, one phone call

  1. 1

    Call and describe the job

Tell us what you are throwing out and where it is going. We will tell you the right size — even if it is smaller than you thought.

  2. 2

Get a flat rate on the spot

Delivery, the rental window, the tonnage allowance and pickup in one number. No teaser rate, no surprise invoice.

  3. 3

We deliver and protect the surface

Boards go down under the rails before the box does. The driver walks the placement with you if you are home.

  4. 4

    Fill it on your schedule

A standard rental runs 3 to 7 days, which suits most jobs, and extensions are cheap if the project runs long. Just call.

  5. 5

One call and it is gone

We pick up, sweep the spot, and haul it to a licensed Georgia facility with the recyclables pulled out.

Service area

Delivering across Coweta County

Our yard sits off 40 GTD Loop in a light-industrial corridor south of downtown Newnan, a few minutes from the historic courthouse square. From there the rest of Coweta County is a short run — southeast toward Senoia and Turin, southwest toward Grantville, Haralson and Sargent, east toward Moreland and Sharpsburg, and out to the unincorporated communities of Welcome, Madras, Roscoe and Arnco Mills. We also run regularly out to Peachtree City, Fayetteville and Tyrone in Fayette County, Palmetto in Fulton County, and Griffin in Spalding County. If your town is on this list, you are in our core radius.

FAQs

Dumpster rental in Newnan — common questions

The questions we field every day. Anything not covered here, just call — we will give you a straight answer.

How much does a dumpster rental cost in Newnan?

It comes down to the size you take, how long you keep it, how heavy the load is and what is in it. A light household cleanout in a 10 yard or 15 yard sits at the affordable end; a 30 yard of mixed construction debris costs more because disposal is charged by weight at the scale. We quote a flat rate covering delivery, the rental period, a tonnage allowance and pickup, so the number you are told is the number you are invoiced — no teaser rate and no surprise fuel or environmental line items. Our cost guide breaks down every driver. Call (470) 241-2574 for a firm number in about two minutes.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Newnan?

Not if it stays on private property. A container set entirely on your own driveway, yard or parking pad needs no permit at all — that covers most of our Newnan deliveries. The moment it has to sit on the public right-of-way instead — a street or a sidewalk — the City's real published Sidewalk Regulations come into play, administered through the City of Newnan’s right-of-way process. We haven't found a published flat fee for a dumpster-specific placement, so we do not print a dollar figure here — check current requirements through the City of Newnan’s Applications and Permits page or call the City directly. Outside Newnan itself, every other incorporated city or town we serve — Senoia, Sharpsburg and Moreland among them — runs its own separate street-occupancy process through its own council or public-works office, and on unincorporated Coweta County land, Georgia has no township layer to fall back on, so it is Coweta County’s own Engineering division itself that handles the road. Confirm the current fee and process with whichever office applies, and allow lead time rather than expecting same-day approval. Our Newnan permit guide covers the City's own process step by step.

How fast can you deliver?

Call before noon on a weekday and same-day is usually achievable — our yard is right here on 40 GTD Loop in Newnan, so the truck starts here rather than driving in from out of town. Next-day is almost always available and costs the same. A permit requirement, severe weather or a truck already committed can change the answer, and we will tell you that honestly rather than promise a slot we cannot hold. See same-day dumpster rental.

What size dumpster do I need?

Most Newnan-area homeowners land on a 15 or 20 yard. The 20 is our most popular box and it also covers a roofing tear-off up to about 50 squares. Two things flip that. Heavy material — concrete, brick, block, dirt and stony fill — goes in a 10 yard every time, because you hit the legal weight limit long before the box is full. And plaster-and-lath out of an older home near downtown Newnan's historic districts weighs considerably more than modern drywall, which catches people out constantly around here. Describe the job on the phone and we will size it, including talking you down if a smaller box will do. Full detail in our sizing guide.

What can't go in the dumpster?

This is a legal and practical issue as much as a policy one. Paint, fuel and oil, and chemicals and solvents all have to stay out of an ordinary landfill load, and Georgia law separately bars lead-acid batteries from an ordinary landfill load outright and restricts whole-tire disposal. Georgia does not have a statewide landfill ban on electronics the way some states do, but computers, monitors and TVs should still go through Coweta County’s electronics-recycling options rather than the dumpster, since most receiving landfills won't take them mixed into a load anyway. Yard waste goes in its own box, and that box has a different exclusion list of its own: no treated or pressure-treated wood, no plastic planters, no fertilizers or chemicals, and no bagged household trash. Asbestos never goes in a container under any circumstances; it needs a licensed abatement contractor, and it is a genuine consideration in the older housing stock around Newnan's historic downtown and antebellum home districts. Full list in our Georgia disposal guide.

Do you deliver dumpsters year-round, including during severe weather season?

Yes. The real seasonal hazard here is tornadoes and severe thunderstorms — sharpest in spring (March through May) with a smaller bump in November — rather than river flooding or heavy snow. This is real, local history, not an abstraction: on March 26, 2021, an EF4 tornado tore through Newnan itself — only the tenth EF4 recorded in Georgia in seven decades. A good share of our seasonal work is storm cleanup: downed limbs, damaged roofing and storm debris. When a tornado watch or warning is posted we hold or reshuffle deliveries rather than have a driver and a loaded truck out in it, and we keep extra containers staged so a wave of storm-damage calls does not leave anyone waiting. Boards go under every box year-round regardless of season or ground condition. More in our severe weather delivery guide.

My driveway is narrow or hard to access. Will that be a problem?

Often not, but it is the right question to ask, especially on the tighter, older lots near Newnan's historic downtown core. A roll-off truck needs roughly 60 feet of clear space to work in, about 25 feet of overhead clearance while the box is tipping off, and a flat hard surface such as a driveway to set down on. A tight lot, low tree limbs, overhead service drops or on-street parking can eat into all three. Sometimes the answer is a smaller container, sometimes it is a different placement spot, and occasionally it is honestly no. Tell us the address and we will know most streets already. See our guide to tight-driveway and soft-ground placement.

Are you a broker, and which towns do you serve?

We own the trucks and the containers and dispatch them ourselves from our 40 GTD Loop yard — when you call you get someone who can picture your street. Brokers resell your job to whoever is cheapest that day, which is how you end up with a no-show and an invoice that does not match the quote. We cover Senoia, Grantville, Haralson, Moreland, Sargent, Sharpsburg, Turin, Welcome, Madras, Roscoe, Arnco Mills, Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Tyrone, Palmetto and Griffin across Coweta County.
